We have all heard the term “born leaders” but is that really the case, or is leadership an acquired skill?
“Professor EB, I think leaders are created in the mother’s womb… As soon as I came into this world, I knew I was the man that other people need to follow… I never make wrong decisions and clearly it’s my way or the highway if our team wants to have any success at all. I am a natural ‘born leader’ because I always order people what to do.”
Good morning Mr. SuperSoft… Despite your ignorant claim of being a natural born leader, as I have gotten to know you a lot better, I’ve come to realize that you are a natural born arrogant self absorbed A hole.
What’s incredible is the fact that you actually think you are any sort of leader at all… Sure, you boss people around with ridiculous commands but your actions don’t ever support the bullshit you try to spew from your mouth… As a matter of fact, you try to use words like ‘We, Team and Togetherness’ but I find it a bit ironic that you always end up going back to your 3 favorite… ‘Me, Myself and I.’
Stevie, the funny thing is that at one point in your life you actually had a chance to be a great leader, but you never wanted to get into the trenches and do the actual work… Your preference of keeping the silver spoon up your ass created an unappreciative culture of expectation and it has plagued you from the onset of your pathetic life.
I am still not exactly sure if leaders are born so I am going to defer to arguably the greatest football coach of all time for this one…
“Leaders aren’t born, they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that’s the price we’ll have to pay to achieve that goal or any goal.”
