Whenever something lasts for hundreds of years, it’s probably a pretty good idea to figure out why…

I recently watched “America’s Book Of Secrets” all about the Freemason society and was shocked at the overall influence and impact they have had on the construction and evolution of the free world. This prompted me to pull up all sorts of articles, facts & findings in regards to the world’s largest and oldest fraternity…

I spent much of yesterday’s Daily Hustle focusing on the creation and development of the Freemason organization, so today let’s figure out what we can learn from the eclectic group of true influencers…

  1. Strength in numbers – Currently the Freemason membership is said to be near 6 million people worldwide and many either hold or have held powerful and influential positions in their lives… As we so often champion here at the Daily Hustle, when we surround ourselves with the right team absolutely anything is possible.  Freemasons have a helluva squad around them.
  2. Purpose of precision – As my Dad used to always say: “Show me how you do anything and I will show you how you do everything.” Freemasons have a long history of being incredibly meticulous with everything that they do… All of their signs & symbols have a precise purpose and it’s amazing how evident their influence is all around the globe.
  3. Don’t force it – Part of the Freemason mantra talks about doing what they can to make a positive impact, but they also reference not forcing their will upon anybody.
  4. If it’s bigger than George, it’s bigger than you – Perhaps the most famous & recognizable Freemason said it best when he addressed his fellow Freemasons at King David’s Lodge in Newport, Rhode Island in 1790…

“Being persuaded that a just application of the principles, on which the Masonic Fraternity is founded, must be promotive of private virtue and public prosperity, I shall always be happy to advance the interests of the Society, and to be considered by them as a deserving brother.” – George Washington

  1. P & P – If “promotion of private virtue & public prosperity” don’t get you going then unsubscribe to the Daily Hustle right now!!!! We don’t need to flaunt our virtuous acts in other peoples faces, just DO GOOD and as we have said before, BE YOUR OWN WITNESS.
