Fear is an interesting emotion…
It has the ability to create overwhelming anxiety & cripple our actions, yet it also can be a motivating factor that can actually help us tap into our primal instincts, which can ultimately help us survive & thrive in what many would consider a dangerous world.
Regardless if fear has you ducking under the covers or charging the obstacle, real estate mogul George Addair assured us that one thing is certain:
“Everything you ever wanted is on the other side of fear.”
Damn, that’s some brilliant truth right there…
No matter what it is that we are chasing in life and no matter if we get it or not, we have to go through fear first.
When I think about some of the things that I have done with my life, playing Major League Baseball, working in the media industry, doing Ironman triathlons, running 100 miles, breaking the 24-hour speed golf world record, writing 2 books, creating 2 documentaries and co-founding No Filter Network, fear was the one common denominator to every one of these happenings…
Like we wrote about in a recent Daily Hustle, if it doesn’t scare us it’s probably not worth doing.
How we handle fear is up to us but if we want to do some epic shit, we might as well get used to having our good ole buddy Mr. Fear hanging around. 😱
P.S. Have you hopped on a Team GoHard Foot Reflexology Board yet?
