This is the letter we shared with you last Thanksgiving that he wrote and sent to friends and family on the final Thanksgiving Day before he passed… It’s definitely worth revisiting.
“I LOVE THANKSGIVING DAY… It is a day where we give thanks for what we have in our lives, rather than focus on what we don’t have, what we hope to have, what we don’t want, or what we want to get rid of. Thanksgiving is a focused day of joyful gratitude and gratefulness for the magical people, places and things in our life.
I LOVE THANKSGIVING DAY… It is a day where there are no material gifts or presents exchanged, but rather the gift of our present moment in time. It is not a day that asks what material things you have or what you do for a living. It is a day that celebrates and appreciates our relationships.
I LOVE THANKSGIVING DAY… It is a day that creates an attitude of gratitude for all our circumstances. Life creates a roller coaster of circumstances that we label successes or challenges. Be grateful for all the circumstances for they lead us to an expanded and better place to be. With gratitude you are a victor in any circumstances
May our attitude of gratitude be continuous and contagious. I thank you for our relationship and I am grateful that you are in my life…
